A garage caught fire near Molesworth yesterday afternoon.
One fire crew from Thrapston and one from Huntingdon were called to Loop Road at 5.35pm, where a detached garage containing a car was alight.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one hydrant to extinguish the flames by 6.34pm.
They checked for hotspots and cleared smoke from the garage before returning to their stations by 9.50pm.
Following an investigation, the fire service concluded that the most likely cause of the fire was accidental, by a fault with the electrical system on a car.
