AROUND 50 straw bales caught fire at a farm on the A1123 near Earith at 2pm on Sunday (November 27).
A crew from St Ives was called to the incident at Bury Fen Farm and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, returning to station by 8.10pm. A crew returned on Monday morning to reinspect the incident, which is believed to have been accidental.
