A person has died after a crash between a lorry and a car on the A1 near Wansford.
A police spokesman said that sparse information is available at this stage, but confirmed one fatality.
The ambulance and fire service are also on the scene and the A1 northbound at Wansford is currently closed. Motorists are asked to avoid the area or expect delays.
INFORMATION: Anyone who witnessed the collision should call the roads policing unit on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
