Families enjoyed a fun day out at Eynesbury Village Association’s St George’s event – held on a new site at the Regatta Meadow in St Neots.
Attractions included a fun fair, a re-enactment of the story of St George and demonstrations of ‘tin bashing’ and wood turning. There was also a dog show.
“People who came enjoyed a happy day,” said James Corley, village association chairman.
“With the new site it was a case of hold your breath and cross your fingers. But people were very complimentary.
“There was a lucky programme drawn. It was number 17 and the £50 prize is still unclaimed!”
