JOINTLY the district and the county council are working on a market town transport plan for Ramsey. This aims to create a transport system that is accessible to all, and to promote public transport, walking, cycling and other sustainable forms of transport.
The plan is in its early stages, with many processes to follow before options are finalised. Initially an audit will take place to provide background information and identify the key transport services in the town and surrounding area. Following the audit, there will be consultations that will help to identify the transport problems and propose solutions.
