More than 150 stalls set up at the church for its annual Hobbies, Craft and Collectors day. Church elder Jean Ding said: The event went very well and it was well attended; I thought it was a lovely day. Within the church grounds visitors were given the chance to take watch skilled craftsmen making willow fencing, talk to experts about knitting and admire those using a traditional spinning wheel. Now in its ninth year the display of exhibitors spilt out of the church grounds and onto the village green. Mrs Ding added: Outside the church walls we had a collection of vintage and classic cars which people enjoyed looking at. In total the day raised £780 towards the church fund.
