Teachers and public servants are striking over a one per cent pay increase and have been joined by firefighters in a dispute over pensions.
Holywell C of E Primary School and Samuel Pepys Special School have been closed today (Thursday) and there are also partial closures at Abbots Ripton C of E, Hemingford Grey Primary School, Eynesbury Primary School, Great Paxton Primary School, Spring Common and St Ivo.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union are walking out from 10am until 7pm.
