There were huge tailbacks on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 this morning when a lorry overturned.

Drivers are being warned to allow more time for travelling on the A14 at Huntingdon today as an overturned lorry is still blocking one lane of the road at the Spittals interchange.

There were huge tailbacks at rush-hour this morning when the lorry overturned on the eastbound carriageway at 7.15am between junctions 22 and 23, near to the turning for Huntingdon Racecourse.

The Highways Agency has warned there are still delays in the area and the lorry will be recovered after 10pm as a full closure of the road would cause more disruption. There is currently one lane closed on the roundabout so drivers need to plan ahead and allow extra time to reach their destinations if they are planning to travel in the area.
