A DRINK driver will appear in court next month after crashing her car into a ditch near St Neots last night (Wednesday).
The woman, 55, had to be cut free from her car by firefighters, after the crash off Perry Road, Buckden, close to the A1 junction at 7.10pm.
The road was closed for 40 minutes to aid recovery.
A police spokesman said: “A 55-year-old woman was arrested at the scene for being over the limit. She was charged later in the evening.”
The woman is due to appear before Huntingdon magistrates on July 9.
