Back for its second running, the show took place in the village community centre and saw a variety of entries, with everything from apples and cup cakes, to photographs and jam on show.

After the judging was complete, the doors were opened to visitors and more than 130 streamed in to cast their eyes over the produce.

There was also a cream tea organised by Lynne Field and her team, a raffle in aid of the British Legion, and a presentation to winners, who received vouchers for Frosts Garden Centre, the show sponsor.

A spokesman for the show said: “A very big thank you to everyone who helped make the show happen, all those who entered items and those who helped set up the evening before, the ladies who came early on Saturday to arrange the exhibits and those who stayed to help clear everything away afterwards - a real team effort.”
