The White Rabbit from Lewis Carrolls classic of childrens literature was an instant hit when it was painted on the rear facade of the building - which faces Priory Lane - holding a tea pot and a cup from the stores Brackenburys café. And Mr Barton has created another design featuring the loveable character, which he has donated to be auctioned in aid of the Hunts Community Cancer Network. It is expected to have a reserve of £1000\/£1500, with proceeds going towards helping people with the disease. The picture will be displayed in the shops window, and will also be advertised at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and on the Hunts Community Cancer Networks Facebook page. Gini Melesi, community cancer nurse specialist at the Woodlands Centre at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and HCCN project lead, said: HCCN comprises of the Hunts Community Cancer nursing team, St Neots Community Learning, the HCCN Charity and volunteers. Working together, our aim is to help people who are recovering from or living with cancer in the Hunts area to take back their lives and to play an active part in managing their health. We do this by delivering a home based nursing service plus educational conferences where we share current research on diet, exercise and emotional well-being demonstrating how changed habits can improve health. We then support people as they adopt those new habits by offering opportunities which bring people together encouraging them to experience healthy cooking, meditation, yoga, pilates and other research based activities. It is really out of the blue and one of those things in life where you are in the right place at the right time. I was talking with Barretts about the mural at the back and they said that Jonnie wanted to donate it to a local cancer charity. He was commissioned by Barretts to create the design after staff spotted another of his Alice in Wonderland-themed murals on Duloe Bridge and thought it would be fitting to signify its own wonderland.
