Firefighters were called to a fire in Ramsey Heights yesterday at 6:30pm to find a fire in a ditch.
One crew from Stanground and one crew and the water carrier from Ramsey were called to a fire in the open on Rays Drove, Ramey Heights.
The crews arrived to find a fire in a ditch. Firefighters used peat branches and the water carrier to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 8.15pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
