Dignitaries, councillors, air cadets and members of the British Legion marched through St Neots on Sunday as part of the town’s annual civic parade.
A service was held at St Mary’s Church, St Neots, and the parade, watched by hundreds of onlookers, was led by 2500 Squadron Air Cadets. Visitors also enjoyed a cream tea on the riverside terrace at The Priory Centre after the event.
St Neots mayor, Derek Giles, who attended the event with mayoress, Sandie Giles, said: “We want to thank all those involved in the preparation of the civic service, the town council staff, including the grounds maintenance people who made the town look so lovely with the beautiful floral arrangements, and the air cadets for once again supporting the town.”
