Planning permission has been granted for the development of four fishermen’s lodges in Pidley.
Huntingdonshire planning agents, Brown & Co Barfords applied for permission for four of the lodges, which will be situated at Rookery Waters, in Fen Road.
Acting on behalf of the landowners, Brown & Co Barfords has previously secured planning permissions for a number of the fishing lakes, as well as a café and a tackle and baits shop; with the fisherman’s lodges being the latest addition to the portfolio.
Martin Page, a planning consultant for Brown & Co Barfords, said: “The fisherman’s lodges will assist the landowner’s continuing diversification programme by providing the further facilities to support this successful commercial fishing environment.
“The investment will also support the rural economy in the Pidley area and we are delighted to have been able to support this growing local enterprise.”
