An accident involving a lorry is causing delays on the A1 around St Neots.
Both carriageways of the A421 between Bedford and the Black Cat roundabout have been shut due to the crash earlier today.
Bedfordshire police were called to the eastbound carriageway at 5.55am after a lorry crashed into the central reservation.
The lorry driver was taken to Bedford Hospital, but is not thought to have been seriously injured.
It is causing long delays on the A1, with queues stretching back to the Hail Weston turning.
