ANYONE wanting to have their say about a local issue that is affecting them can, as the next round of Huntingdonshire-wide neighbourhood forum meetings continues next week.

Residents are encouraged to go along and talk about their ideas, raise any issues and find out about what is going on locally. Cambridgeshire Police will be presenting an update on the crime and disorder profile for each neighbourhood for the previous months. Residents can also raise issues about crime and disorder which will help to determine the local policing priorities.

The St Neots meeting is due to take place at 7pm on January 23 at the Bargrove Centre, Cromwell Road, St Neots. Topics will include recycling services.

The north west Huntingdon forum meeting will be held at 7pm on January 25 at Sawtry Infants School, Middlefield Rd, Sawtry. Topics for this meeting will include the opening hours at the Yaxley community shop.

The condition of fen roads and issues surrounding future police funding will be on the agenda for the Ramsey forum meeting at 7pm on January 30 at Warboys Parish Centre, Warboys.

And a second Huntingdon forum meeting will take place at 10am on February 7 at St Peter's School in Huntingdon. Topics for this meeting will include looking at planning developments in the area, especially involving young people.

Meetings are open to everyone - whether as an individual or representative of a community group. The meetings are organised by Huntingdonshire District Council and involve representatives from county, town and parish councils, National Health Service, Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service and social housing landlord Luminus.
