Paramedics were sent to Long Drove, Holme, shortly after 11am today (Tuesday) to treat a 55-year-old man who suffered cuts to his head and neck. The road was shut between Herne Road (B1040), Ramsey St Marys, and Pingle Bank, Holme. A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: We were called to Long Drove, Holme, at 11.08am to reports that a cyclist had suffered head injuries.Details around how he sustained the injuries are still sketchy and investigations are being carried out. A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service added: He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
