Cyclist dies in Earith after suffering heart attack

A MAN died after suffering a heart attack while out cycling in Earith.

Medical emergency charity Magpas said they were called to an incident at about 12.35pm on Saturday – with reports of a male cyclist having had a cardiac arrest.

The Magpas team, working alongside two East of England Ambulance Service paramedics, provided advanced life support for the patient, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Magpas spokesman said: “Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.”
