THE rain held off for the Riverside Gala in Huntingdon on Saturday.
Hundreds turned out to see the displays, browse the stalls and support the charities raising money for their causes.
There was also live music, dancing, bouncy castles, barbecue, bar, stalls, boxing demonstrations and the annual Wood Green Novelty Dog Show.
And the entertainment was provided for free thanks to Huntingdon Rotary Club, Huntingdon Boat Club and Huntingdon Town Council as well as the sponsors, Urban & Civic.
One of the organisers Malcolm Lyons said: “It was a fantastic event on Saturday. Wood Green was very pleased with the dog entries and their ring displays were excellent.”
