On March 22, six pupils, representing Huntingdonshire, visited Huntingdon Gymnastics Club for a level three gymnastic final. An opening ceremony was held at the St Ivo Indoor Centre where there was a motivational speech from professional golfer Henni Goya who spoke about performing and her work as a television presenter. After the ceremony, competitors then performed at various venues and Crosshall competed against 10 other schools in the event at the Huntingdon gym. Holly, Alice and Sid demonstrated their floor routine and Jessica, Kasia and Sophia competed in the body management routine competition. All children participated in performing a vault for the judges, to which they were commended on their performances. T After all rotations had been completed, pupils were encouraged to participate in some games and were able to interview Henni Goya about her success in the sport. They had a final surprise when Louis Smith turned up to train at the gym. At the end of the competition Louis Smith allowed the children to take photographs with him and ask a few questions. The Crosshall Junior School team finished in seventh place.
