CRACKING SURPRISE: Huntingdon mum Melanie Broadie had a shock when she was cooking tea and cracked an egg to discover it contained – another egg.
Mrs Broadie, 49, of Kent Road, said: “I broke it into the frying pan and noticed something in it – it was another egg!”
The normal size outer egg was from half-a-dozen bought from Tesco. As well as the fully formed mini-egg, it also contained the usual egg white and yolk.
Mrs Broadie, pictured here with her son Kieran, 10, and the egg, added: “I searched for it on Google and it has happened before but it is very rare.
“I did crack open the egg and it was a tiny weeny little yolk and white, so cute.”
