A concert held at St Mary’s Church, in Eaton Socon, raised more than £350 for the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy charity.
The event, held on December 3, was organised by piano teachers Suzanne De-Simone and Liz Walden, and featured 30 performers aged from six to 16 years of age.
“The children donned their Christmas bling and took part: mostly pianists, from beginners to those taking advanced graded exams, but there were other instruments including trombone, clarinet and ukulele,” said Liz.
“Families turned out to support the event, many bringing homemade cakes to raise a little extra money afterwards in the church hall where refreshments were served. We were delighted and humbled to welcome Leo’s mum Marie and other members of the family.”
