A WEEKEND pass for two people including afternoon tea at Hemingford Abbots Flower Festival is up for grabs.

The Hunts Post has teamed up with event organisers to offer the passes for Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30. As well gardens to explore, St Margaret’s Church will be packed with arrangements based on clouds, rainbows, planets and stars, courtesy of the St Margaret’s Flower Guild. There will also be art and history exhibitions, a display of classic cars, bikes and tractors, morris dancing, brass bands, stalls and river trips, together with music and a concert in the church. To be in with a chance of winning a pass, simply answer the following question: Which flower is the traditional emblem of England? a. Daffodil. b. Rose. c. Red Hot Poker. INFORMATION: The festival is on Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, and the gardens will be open from noon to 6pm. Parking is free. Entry by programme costs £7.50 for one day or £12 for the weekend. Under 18s free. All proceeds will go towards St Margaret’s Church.
