The third annual Huntingdon Chilli Festival was a fiery affair.

Held in the Commemoration Hall, on Saturday, dozens of people turned out to enjoy some of the weird and wonderful chilli-themed products on offer, including chilli sauces, chilli beers, and even salted caramel chilli.

There were plenty of novelty items to buy, as well as chilli seeds, and packs of whole chillies, from mild specimens right the way through to searingly hot.

There were stands from exhibitors based all over East Anglia, including Chimoulis, from Northamptonshire, and Fallen Angel Brewery, based in Essex.

The event was organised by Huntingdon First, and manager Sue Bradshaw said: "We had quite a lot of local exhibitors and suppliers, and a steady flow of people who came in throughout the day so it was good all round."

With the Commemoration Hall set to be closed for refurbishment next year, Ms Bradshaw said plans are afoot to move the festival to a new venue, or even outside, for 2017.
