A child has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after an incident in St Ives.
Cambridgeshire Police were called to Ramsey Road, at 7.10am this morning (January 17) after reports of concern for a child.
According to the East of England Ambulance Service, the child was not conscious or breathing and was treated at the scene by critical care paramedics and ambulance crews.
Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and the rapid response vehicle from Magpas attended, along with a community first responder.
The child was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, by land ambulance. According to a spokesman for the ambulance service, the child’s condition was critical.
