Two fitness coaches are inviting spectators and teams to join them at a charity football tournament at St Ives Outdoor Centre on Sunday (February 9).
The six-aside matches are being held to raise money for Freddy De’ath and Arvey Betts’s trip to an orphanage in Burkina Faso, Africa, with Sports Connections Foundation on February 23.
So far, eight teams have signed up on the day, but they are hoping for 12 teams in total.
They are still on track to reach their 2800-mile target and hope to beat their childhood friend and elite paracyclist Craig Green to be the first to cycle from Huntingdon to Africa.
INFORMATION: Registration from 12pm, the event will run from 1-4pm. To donate, visit https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/fit4kidz. For more information, call Freddy De’ath on 07834225191 or email freddy_death@hotmail.com.
