Ram-raiders have struck twice in a week at businesses in Eaton Socon.

The first incident took place between 8.30pm on Sunday, February 5, and 6.30am the following morning at an industrial estate in Vulcan Way.

According to police, burglars gained access to a premises by ramming the shutters using a vehicle. Once inside, the loaded a motocross bike on what officers described as a ‘pick-up style truck’ before leaving.

In the second incident, on Sunday, February 12, ram-raiders cut the padlocks on a bollard before damaging a set of shutters by ramming them.

The incident took place at about 9.20pm and, after gaining access to the premises, in Little End Road, raiders made off with some cabling and cash.

Police have not confirmed whether the two incidents are linked but have called for anyone with information to contact them on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
