“It’s frustrating that people are parking along a narrow road and don’t seem to know that they are blocking others.”
Mrs Railton, 32, contacted Huntingdonshire District Council, and she said it had tried sending a smaller lorry but had still found the road blocked.
She and her husband Jon, who have a two-year-old daughter, Poppy, were also concerned at the public health hazard of the bins being left and had taken rubbish to the tip themselves.
She said: “The bins are right at the back of the house and we often use the back for going in and out of the house.
“People just leave their rubbish there until the bins get emptied.

A spokesman for HDC said the council was aware of the problem and was attempting to resolve it.
