A DRIVER escaped with minor injuries after crashing into the Elite Motorists Centre in Huntingdon this morning (Thursday).
The driver, thought to be a man in his 80s, thought his gold Mercedes was parked and as he got out, stepped on the accelerator and the out of control car drove into the door of the tyre dealer and car repair workshop, in Windover Road at just after 10am.
David Playford, manager of Elite Motorists Centre, said the driver was a customer and suffered a cut to his hand.
He said there was damage to the door frame of the building but it was quite small.
