A CAR has flipped onto its roof in Huntingdon this afternoon (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to Kings Ripton Road, Sapley, at just after 3pm to reports of a car rolling over in a single-vehicle crash.
Paramedics assessed a woman in her 20s, but she had “no apparent injuries but was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital as a precaution”, a spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said.
He added Magpas’s air ambulance was on scene for nine minutes as it was originally feared that the crash was serious but was not as bad as first thought.
A spokesman for the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said they originally believed someone was trapped in the vehicle but they assisted paramedics getting the woman from her car.
