A motorist had a lucky escape this morning (Wednesday) after his car flipped onto its roof following a collision with a truck.
The incident, involving two vehicles, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a Huntingdonshire District Council truck, took place shortly after 7am on the junction of Ridgeway and Potton Road, in Eynesbury.
Resident Bob Atkin was woken by the crash this morning, he told The Hunts Post: “I looked out my window and saw what had happened. The Corsa driver had sustained cuts to his arms and the council crew were uninjured.”
Following the incident the junction was blocked while those involved were treated and the car was moved.
It is not know how the collision occurred at this stage.
