A CAR fire has caused lane closures on the westbound carriageway of the A14 between St Ives and Hemingford Abbots.
Firefighters were called to the seen at 3.30pm and found a black Vauxhall Vectra in flames between junction 25 and 26.
Both lanes were closed while the crews in attendance extinguished the fire.
One lane was re-opened at around 4.15pm but the other remained closed.
