FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car fire in the centre of St Neots this afternoon (Thursday).
One crew from the town was called just before 1pm, to reports of a Land Rover on fire close to the town bridge on the High Street.
The road was temporarily closed, causing gridlock in the town centre.
Paramedics treated the driver of the vehicle forsmoke inhalation.
The fire crew returned to the station by 1.45pm.
