A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital this morning after the car he and his family were travelling in crashed into a tree on his was to school.
His dad and two other children suffered minor injuries in the crash when their car left the B660, near Sawtry, shortly after 7am this morning (Thursday).
Magpas Dr Fiona Bowles and paramedic Ryan Warwick assisted an East of England Ambulance crew before accompanying the 12-year-old, with chest and abdominal injuries, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
A Magpas spokesman said: “The team assessed an adult who was driving the car and three children. The 12-year-old was in real shock but is in a stable condition.”
