Cannabis was found stashed in a wheelie bin outside a row of shops in March.
Police were called to clear the drugs after a householder went to throw away their rubbish in the bins today (Thursday October 17).
The bins, which are for flats above shops in Station Road, were found to contain off cuts of cannabis plants at around mid day.
Police attended the scene at about 1pm.
The drugs have been taken away for destruction and police are investigating.
