Cambridgeshire police uncovered a cannabis farm during a raid in Brington this morning (Thursday).
At about 7am officers searched a site in Brington Gorse, where they found 322 plants on unoccupied plots. The value of the plants is estimated to be between £91,160 and £270,480.
PC Leigh Norman said: “This represents significant disruption to organised crime and a serious dent in their pockets.
“Drugs can ruin lives and cause misery for our local communities. We are working hard to tackle both dealing and cultivation such as this.
“Information from the public is vital in our efforts to combat the issue. If you suspect activity related to drugs then please contact us.”
A spokesman for police said officers had also “seized a stolen dog”. The spokesman added: “Enquiries are ongoing with the chip company to return her to her rightful owner.”
