British Transport Police have released CCTV images of men they would like to speak to in connection with an attempted theft from St Neots railway station.
The incident took place in the early hours of Monday, September 5, with two men captured on CCTV riding into the station on bikes.
After they attempted to force open a ticket machine, leaving it badly damaged, they left the station empty-handed, leaving the bikes behind. The bikes were seized by officers and are being forensically examined.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “If you know the men pictured or have any further information which could help the investigation, please contact us on 0800 405040 or text 61016, quoting reference 279 of 13/10.”
Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
