A woman carrying a child was hit by a car in Peterborough this afternoon (Thursday).
The woman, in her 20s, was knocked unconscious in the city centre incident at about 12.30pm but had woken up by the time Magpas Helimedix arrived. The young child didn’t suffer any major injuires.
Paramedics took the woman, and the child, to Peterborough City Hospital, where she arrived fully alert and in a stable condition.
