CAMBS: What to do this weekend in Huntingdon – try jelly welly race

IF you’ve never seen a jelly welly race, then you’re in for a treat at a family fun day taking place in Huntingdon on Sunday (May 26).

The Oxmoor Community Action Group is organising the event between 11am and 3pm at Coneygear Park.

“It’s going to be action packed with challenges such as five-a-side football, a jelly welly race for the little ones, zumba dance, boxing, mini car racing and Huntingdon Community Radio going live,” said spokesman Jill Watkin-Tavener.

The event will also include martial arts, a football challenge, table top sales, arts and crafts, and face painting as well as a series of displays – Football (11am), Wendy Burke Dancers (11.30am), fitness boxing (noon), zumba dance (12.30pm), football (12.30pm), fit 4 kidz (1pm), fitness boxing (1.30pm), zumba challenge (2pm) and football (2pm).

The jelly welly race is scheduled for 2.30pm and is for children aged four and under.
