POLICE responding to reports of an insecure door at a property in Whittlesey entered today (September 9) to find £2million worth of cannabis.
Officers were still at the cannabis factory in Benwick Road this afternoon after they had been called by a member of the public who was concerned about the building’s security.
It is estimated that there are somewhere between 800-1000 cannabis plants at the address with the potential street value of £2 million.
Crime Scene Investigators were carrying out forensic searches at the property this afternoon.
No arrests have been made and anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
