Keith Nancekievill. a former head Hinchingbrooke School in Huntingdon is to be given an OBE for services to education while Bob Burn-Murdoch, the curator of the Norris Museum in St Ives, is to get an MBE. The Hunts Post columnist who has been involved in local history for the past 30 years gets the honour at the end of his career he is to retire next week. Other people to receive an MBE include Huntingdon Gym Club coach Paul Hall he trained Louis Smith, a medallist at both the London and Beijing Olympic Games, who also gets an MBE and Caroline Hansford, the founder of the Malawi Education Link. Former Ivo School student Jonathan Peacock, the Paralympic sprinter, also gets an MBE as does Ronald Stanley, a senior systems engineer for Ofcom who lives in St Neots. British Empire Medals (BEM) are to be awarded to Margaret Perryman, for services to the community in Needingworth, and June Wilson, for services to the community in Brampton.
