An unattended bonfire in Huntingdon was one of just two fires in Cambridgeshire which had to be dealt with by firefighters on Firework Night.
A crew was called to Kent Road at 10.50pm yesterday (Tuesday), put out the flames and was back at the station by 11.30pm. The other fire was on a building site in Cambridge.
A further six calls were received about bonfires in the county but none of them required firefighting action.
