A CAMBRIDGESHIRE farmer was rushed to hospital after being crushed by the rear wheel of a tractor.
Magpas Helimedix said its emergency medical team was called to Swavesey just after noon on Monday to help a 68-year-old man.
The farmer was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in a serious but stable condition after receiving emergency care from the Magpas Helimedix team.
The Helimedix team sedated the man, who had severe injuries to his legs, pelvis and arms, allowing him to be freed by firefighters before he was taken to hospital.
