A girl narrowly avoided being hit by a guided bus on Monday morning.
Passengers saw the girl cycling along the busway between Histon and Oakington at about 8.45am when she lost her balance and fell onto track in front of a bus travelling to Huntingdon.
She managed to jump out of the way seconds before the bus ran over the bike, smashing glass in the door.
Holly Collas, of Cambridge, saw the incident from the bus. She tweeted: “The driver stopped as best he could in the time he had. She lost balance. Had plenty cycling room.
“The driver did see her, but she fell with seconds to spare. It was no-one’s fault. Just an accident.”
