A 10,000 reward has been put up for the arrest and conviction of ram-raiders who stole an ATM from Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The Bank Machine Company has put up the reward in a bid to help the police investigation into the incident in Keith Day Road at about 11.45pm on Friday March 9.

Police have also released CCTV images of the raid, which shows the masked offenders stealing the ATM.

A stolen Mitsubishi Shogun was used to smash through a set of doors of the hospital. The offenders then made off in another stolen car – a green BMW estate, which was later found dumped near garages in Lichfield Road, Cambridge.

Detective Constable Nicola Lamport, investigating, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone with any information about the offence or who is responsible.

“Hopefully the reward will encourage people to come forward to assist our investigation.”

The payment of the reward is subject to information being received before June 20 and the validity of any claim will be determined by Post Office Security in conjunction with police.

INFORMATION: Anyone with any information should call DC Lamport on 101 or Crmestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
