Hundreds of quiz goers will pack into pubs next week to take part in a Rotary Club of St Ives fundraiser.
Held twice a year, questions are asked simultaneously at public houses across Huntingdonshire.
Everyone taking part in each pub constitutes a team and their scores for each round are phoned in by a Rotary member to quiz organiser Adrian Acton, whose team of helpers keeps a tally.
The winning pub is announced at the end and first prize is £250 for the charity of the winner’s choice and a case of wine for the team members.
The quiz takes place at participating pubs from 7.45pm on Thursday, October 10. Entry is £3 per person.
