PAPWORTH Hospital-based Health Enterprise East, the NHS innovation hub for the East of England, has appointed Ian Winstanley as a new non-executive director.
He is currently chief operating officer at Luton teaching Primary Care Trust, having spent over 20 years in the NHS as both a clinician and a manager. He joined the tPCT from the Department of Health, where his responsibilities included primary care, the development of the first wave PCTs, walk-in centres and NHS dentistry. He was previously managing director of a major consultancy serving the insurance/re-insurance industry, based in London.
