HUNTINGDON-based Hilton Food Group plc, one of the leading specialist meat-packing business supplying major international food retailers in Europe, has remained on track over the last 12 months to meet the management's trading expectations.
A spokesman said: "We continue to see a steady growth trend in packed meat sales, supported by a strong product innovation programme developed in co-operation with our customers."
Two-thirds of the group's sales are in Europe, with Tesco a major customer. The group plans to publish its full-year results on April 15.
Founded in 1994, Hilton employs about 1,200 people in five European countries.
