Participants in Huntingdonshire's first "Speednetworking" event last month had just five minutes to make their pitch to one another before having to move on to another prospect. In just an hour, participants, principally small and medium-sized businesses, made a dozen new contacts - among them advisers, like-minded entrepreneurs, potential customers, suppliers or simply interesting people, said Terry Downing, of The Huntingdonshire Business Network, which organised the event in Huntingdon's Commemoration Hall.
The event also raised £75 for Children in Need, said Terry, who is pictured starting off one of the intensive sessions as part of Enterprise Week.
