ST NEOTS Peugeot dealer Marshalls has begun work on a �500,000 redevelopment of the showroom and site on Alington Road.
The dealership, which has been in the town for over 25 years is undertaking a substantial 22 week building programme which it says will set the family business in good stead to serve motorists in the area for another 25 years to come.
“Completion of the project in April will reveal a bigger and brighter seven-car showroom, a re-developed used car area and two new higher workshop bays to cater for vans and motor homes,” a spokesman said.
The new-look Marshall Peugeot will also be looking to take on extra sales and technician staff to join long-standing members of staff, including general manager Ian Hurst, service manager Mark Jenner and sales manager Rob Shepherd, who have all been at the dealership since 1993.
Mr Hurst said: “Marshall Peugeot was the second business to open on the industrial estate and is a key focus for many motorists in the area. Through our experienced and dedicated staff the dealership has built up excellent relationships with both business and private customers over the years.”
